Rachelsfontain Chenin Blanc 2020 . The Rachel fountain Chenin Blanc from Boschendal glides into the glass of the connoisseur with a pale yellow colour. An exotic fragrance reminiscent of distant lands rises in the nose, dominated by aromas of juicy mangoes, ripe apricots and delicious pineapple. Fruity nuances are also noticeable on the palate of Boschendal's Chenin Blanc Rachel Fountain, supported by a hint of nut and honey.

Exceptional wine-making yields an incredible sophisticated crisp, pale blush wine with outstanding finesse and elegance. Hints of strawberry preserve impart an intriguing aroma, characteristic hints of ripe red berries are also evident.

The wine has a deep ruby, red colour. It shows ripe raspberries, black currant and mocha flavours on the nose and has dark chocolate and blackberry fruit on the palate. This wine has good length with a dry finish and can mature for a further 7-8 year

Pale gold with a flourish of delicate bubbles and enticing lemon cream and almond Biscotti precedes a soft explosion of zesty lemon and orange peel that finishes with appealing length and freshness. Maturation on the lees provides a well rounded creamy mouth-feel with detectable minerality, good balance and a seamless finish.   Enjoy well chilled as a rewarding social sipper or riveting aperitif at all occasions.
